KFOG Kaboom is an annual outdoor concert held by KFOG in San Francisco in May. This is followed by an evening fireworks synchronized to a soundtrack broadcast on the station. The extravagant fireworks display attracts more than 350,000 people. In 2007, Kaboom began charging admission due to rising costs.

Through 1998, the event was known as the Concert of the sky, but was renamed in 1999.Reportedly, this was due to the name too generic and may conflict with SKY KEILWERTH concert saxaphone.

KFOG Kaboom is down the road a few miles from his new home in Field @ Candlestick Park, a site that is home to many good times in recent years, from MLB All-Star Game and World Series games NFC championship and to the live final concert of The Beatles.

We will continue in that tradition, with favorites Fogher Melissa Etheridge and John Butler Trio Stage balancing Kaboom, followed by the real star of the show - KFOG Kaboom fireworks - synchronized with a soundtrack of world-class Rock. We also added a new attraction for the show, including the expansion of children's entertainment, music and local wine tasting organized by Wente Vineyards and more.
