Eureka has been around a long time. The letters at the end of the model don't mean much (the MZ has the "power brush", but the 4870 is important. Eureka was half the price if compared with another vacuum model. 
The sucking power is incredible. Just took the crevice attachment of the Eureka and cleaned both machines out completely in the blink of an eye. You should very happy with this unit.
